Payroll Specialist - hourly payroll (Anchorage, AK)

Stonegate Beacon Staffing Group is a Anchorage staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on hourly payroll. You would join a small organisation of about 22 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
