Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (Savannah, GA)

Redstone Corner Construction is looking for a Payroll Specialist. The job centres on benefit deductions for permits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Site safety is non-negotiable. What you will do • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Savannah, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
