Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (remote)

Nova West Banking Services Group provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Dallas. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on benefit deductions. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Dallas. • We reply to every applicant.
