Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (remote)

Harborlight Juniper Banking Services Group is a regional lender in Virginia Beach with branches and a growing mobile service, and we need a Payroll Specialist to lead our benefit deductions. We promote from within and train well. What you will do • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
