Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (remote)

Westbrook Umber Banking Services is a regional lender in Las Vegas with branches and a growing mobile service, and we need a Payroll Specialist to lead our benefit deductions. You would join a large organisation of about 314 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Las Vegas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
