Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (remote)

Bluepeak Bright Staffing is a Las Vegas staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on benefit deductions. You would join a small organisation of about 58 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Las Vegas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
