Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (remote)

Harborlight River Staffing Group is a Reno staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on benefit deductions. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Reno. • We reply to every applicant.
