Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (remote)

Ironwood Sable Financial serves customers across Pittsburgh with accounts, loans and payments. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on benefit deductions. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
