Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (remote)

Redstone Timber Construction is looking for a Payroll Specialist. The job centres on benefit deductions for materials orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Site safety is non-negotiable. What you will do • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Toledo. • We reply to every applicant.
