Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (remote)

Greenridge Pine Staffing is a Jacksonville staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles, and we need a Payroll Specialist to lead our benefit deductions. You would join a small organisation of about 133 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Jacksonville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
