Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (remote)

Highbridge Pine Financial is looking for a Payroll Specialist. The job centres on benefit deductions for customer onboarding, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
