Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (remote)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Iron Construction and adding a Payroll Specialist whose main responsibility will be benefit deductions. Site safety is non-negotiable. What you will do • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Knoxville. • We reply to every applicant.
