Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (remote)

Lumen Cross Banking Services is a community-focused bank in Anchorage serving households and small businesses. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on benefit deductions. We promote from within and train well. What you will do • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
