Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (remote)

Redstone Field Construction is a Wichita contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need a Payroll Specialist to lead our benefit deductions. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Wichita. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
