Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (remote)

Highbridge Banking Services is looking for a Payroll Specialist. The job centres on benefit deductions for fraud alerts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
