Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (Phoenix, AZ)

Westbrook Bridge Banking Services provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Phoenix. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on benefit deductions. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Phoenix, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
