Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (Omaha, NE)

Amberfield Fern Banking Services Group is a community-focused bank in Omaha serving households and small businesses. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on benefit deductions. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Omaha, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
