Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (Miami, FL)

Summit Amber Financial serves customers across Miami with accounts, loans and payments, and we need a Payroll Specialist to lead our benefit deductions. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Miami. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
