Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (Madison, WI)

Rivermark Meadow Financial is looking for a Payroll Specialist. The job centres on benefit deductions for loan applications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
