Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (Las Vegas, NV)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Bright Staffing and adding a Payroll Specialist whose main responsibility will be benefit deductions. Speed and follow-up matter. What you will do • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Las Vegas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
