Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (Las Vegas, NV)

We are growing our team at Silverline Maple Financial and adding a Payroll Specialist whose main responsibility will be benefit deductions. You would join a small organisation of about 52 people based in Las Vegas. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Las Vegas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
