Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (Knoxville, TN)

Stonegate Corner Construction Partners is a Knoxville contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on benefit deductions. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Knoxville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
