Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (Honolulu, HI)

Cedar Union Banking Services Group is a regional lender in Honolulu with branches and a growing mobile service. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on benefit deductions. Most people here started in a branch and stayed. What you will do • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Honolulu, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
