Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (Fresno, CA)

Northwind Sable Construction Group is looking for a Payroll Specialist. The job centres on benefit deductions for change orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Fresno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
