Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (El Paso, TX)

We are growing our team at Silverline Basin Banking Services and adding a Payroll Specialist whose main responsibility will be benefit deductions. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in El Paso. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
