Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (El Paso, TX)

Fernwood Linden Banking Services is a regional lender in El Paso with branches and a growing mobile service. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on benefit deductions. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in El Paso. What you will do • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in El Paso. • We reply to every applicant.
