Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (El Paso, TX)

Rivermark Junction Staffing is looking for a Payroll Specialist. The job centres on benefit deductions for client orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are in the people business and act like it. What you will do • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in El Paso. • We reply to every applicant.
