Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (Dallas, TX)

Westbrook Ember Financial Group is looking for a Payroll Specialist. The job centres on benefit deductions for payment disputes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people based in Dallas. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
