Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (Columbus, OH)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Meadow Financial and adding a Payroll Specialist whose main responsibility will be benefit deductions. You would join a small organisation of about 65 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Columbus. • We reply to every applicant.
