Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (Charlotte, NC)

We are growing our team at Redstone Sable Financial and adding a Payroll Specialist whose main responsibility will be benefit deductions. You would join a small organisation of about 145 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Charlotte. • We reply to every applicant.
