Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (Anchorage, AK)

Rivermark Maple Financial is looking for a Payroll Specialist. The job centres on benefit deductions for regulatory reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Anchorage. • We reply to every applicant.
