Paralegal - filing and deadlines (Jacksonville, FL)

Fernwood Basin Legal Group is looking for a Paralegal. The job centres on filing and deadlines for court deadlines, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 179 people based in Jacksonville. What you will do • Prepare and file documents and track court deadlines. • Support hearings and meetings on matters involving court deadlines. • Draft routine letters and summaries for attorney review. • Interview clients and organise their files. • Maintain case management records. What we are looking for • Excellent attention to detail. • Discretion with confidential information. • Paralegal training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Bilingual English and Spanish. • Experience with court deadlines. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Jacksonville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
