Paralegal - filing and deadlines (Colorado Springs, CO)

Fernwood Umber Legal Group provides legal services in Colorado Springs across employment, housing and small-business law. We are hiring a Paralegal to take on filing and deadlines. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain case management records. • Prepare and file documents and track court deadlines. • Interview clients and organise their files. • Support hearings and meetings on matters involving document review. • Draft routine letters and summaries for attorney review. What we are looking for • Excellent attention to detail. • Discretion with confidential information. • Paralegal training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Experience with document review. • Bilingual English and Spanish. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Colorado Springs, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
