Paralegal - client intake (remote)

Harborlight Legal Group provides legal services in New Orleans across employment, housing and small-business law, and we need a Paralegal to lead our client intake. You would join a small organisation of about 45 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare and file documents and track court deadlines. • Interview clients and organise their files. • Maintain case management records. • Support hearings and meetings on matters involving document review. • Draft routine letters and summaries for attorney review. What we are looking for • Paralegal training or equivalent experience. • Discretion with confidential information. • Excellent attention to detail. Nice to have • Experience with document review. • Bilingual English and Spanish. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
