Operations Manager - vendor management (Wichita, KS)

Stonegate Bridge Transit Planning Group is a transit-planning firm in Wichita working with agencies and riders. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track performance measures for service alerts and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with ridership counts. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
