Operations Manager - vendor management (Wichita, KS)

Silverline Hollow Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Wichita region. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track performance measures for seasonal crews and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with packing house output. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
