Operations Manager - vendor management (Wichita, KS)

Westbrook Meridian Foods Group makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Wichita, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for sanitation schedules and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with allergen controls. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Wichita. • We reply to every applicant.
