Operations Manager - vendor management (Wichita, KS)

Silverline Hollow Farms is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for grower contracts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 933 people based in Wichita. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for grower contracts and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
