Operations Manager - vendor management (Tulsa, OK)

Ironwood Orchard Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Tulsa, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would join a large organisation of about 337 people based in Tulsa. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for grower contracts and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Tulsa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
