Operations Manager - vendor management (Tucson, AZ)

Highbridge Sparrow Facilities is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for supply orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Our crews keep other people's buildings running and we treat them well. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for supply orders and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with contractor visits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Tucson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
