Operations Manager - vendor management (Tucson, AZ)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Forge Farms and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for seasonal crews and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with grower contracts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Tucson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
