Operations Manager - vendor management (Tucson, AZ)

Redstone Quarry Freight is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for customer tracking, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 532 people based in Tucson. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
