Operations Manager - vendor management (Toledo, OH)

Lumen Kestrel Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Toledo plant, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for scrap and rework and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with production lines. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Toledo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
