Operations Manager - vendor management (Toledo, OH)

Summit Vale Water Authority is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for treatment plant data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Toledo. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for treatment plant data and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with capital projects.
