Operations Manager - vendor management (Toledo, OH)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Maple Manufacturing Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for machine downtime and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with tooling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Toledo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
