Operations Manager - vendor management (Tampa, FL)

Silverline Bright Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around Tampa. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. Service hours are steady. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for supplier deliveries and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with parts orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Tampa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
