Operations Manager - vendor management (Tampa, FL)

Summit Pike Manufacturing is a Tampa manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 23 people based in Tampa. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for machine downtime and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Tampa. • We reply to every applicant.
