Operations Manager - vendor management (St. Louis, MO)

Ironwood Meridian Farms Group is an agricultural business based around St. Louis, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for harvest schedules and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in St. Louis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
