Operations Manager - vendor management (St. Louis, MO)

Silverline Ridge Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for St. Louis and nearby communities, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for treatment plant data and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with capital projects. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in St. Louis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
