Operations Manager - vendor management (St. Louis, MO)

Northwind Hollow Energy delivers power and gas plans across the St. Louis region. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would join a large organisation of about 287 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for meter readings and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with outage response. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in St. Louis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
